Lily came to The Circle School in the fall of 2017, bringing with her a sunny disposition, graceful perseverance, nurturing sense of compassion, and her indomitable sense of humor.

During her time here, Lily served in elected positions of substantial responsibility in the school’s democratic governance, including Judicial Committee Chair, Judicial Committee Scribe, and School Meeting Vice Chair. Lily held Red Cross First Aid & CPR certifications and joined the school’s Medical Responder Team. She was running for the office of Assistant Medical Officer in the school’s upcoming fall elections. Lily also served as Chair of the Music Corporation, often filling the Music Studio with the strums of her ukulele and lilting song.

We dearly miss Lily, remembering her now especially as she chatted about plans for her future, dreaming of college and beyond.
